My father (d) related to us from Abdullah bin al-Hussein al-Mueddib from Ahmed bin Ali al-Isfahani from Mohammed bin Aslam at-Tusi from Abu Rajaa from Hemmad bin Zaid from Abdirrahman as-Sarraj from Nafii that Ibn Omar said: When we asked him about Ali bin Abi Talib, the Prophet (s) was angry and said: Why do some people mention that one whose rank in the sight of Allah is as same as mine?1 He who loves Ali loves me, and Allah will accept him who loves me, and whomever Allah accepts will be rewarded with Paradise. Whoever loves Ali will not depart this world before he drinks from the Divine River of Kawthar, eats from the Divine Tree of Tuba, and sees his place in Paradise. 1. Ibn Hagar, in his book titled as-Sawaaiq ul-Muhriqa; 108, records a similar narration, but there is an addition in its beginning and distortion in its middle. Refer also to ar-Riyadh un-Nadhira; 2:162 Whoever loves Ali will have his prayers, fasting, and worship accepted and will have his supplications responded. Whoever loves Ali, the angels will seek Allah's forgiveness for him and the eight portals of Paradise will all be opened before him so that he can choose the one which takes him to Paradise with being maintained to the Judgment. Whoever loves Ali, Allah will give him his record (of deeds) in his right hand2 and will call him to account in the same way as He calls His prophets. Whoever loves Ali; Allah will alleviate for him the agonies of death and will change his grave into a garden of Paradise. Whoever loves Ali, Allah will give him in marriage women of Paradise as many as the arteries of his body, will grant him the right to intercede for eighty individuals from his family members, and will give him women and cities of Paradise as many as the hairs of his body.3 2. This is an indication to Allah's saying in the Quran: "On the day when We call every nation with their leaders, those whose record of deeds are given to their right hands will read the book and the least wrong will not be done to them." 17:71) 3. The previous statements are recorded in al-Khawarzmi's al-Manaqib; 43. Whoever loves Ali, Allah will send the Angel of Death to him in the same way as He sends him to the prophets, will save him from the horrible interrogation of Munkar and Nakeer, will lighten his heart, will whiten his face, and will join him with Hamza; the master of the shahids.4 Whoever loves Ali, Allah will save him from the fire (of Hell.) Whoever loves Ali, Allah will place wisdom in his heart firmly, will make the truth slide on his tongue, and will open before him the doors to His mercy. Whoever loves Ali will be called 'the prisoner of Allah' in the heavens and the earth.5 Whoever loves Ali, an angel from beneath the Divine Throne will call at him: O servant of Allah, make a new start, for Allah has forgiven all of your sins. 4. Hamza (bin Abdul-Muttalib) is the Prophet's uncle and one of the most celebrated personalities of Islam. He was martyred during the battle of Uhud. 5. In Bihar ul-Anwar, this statement is recorded in the following form: "Whoever loves Ali, the inhabitants of the heavens will call him 'the prisoner of Allah on the earth.' Whoever loves Ali will attend on the Day of Resurrection with a face as bright as the full moon. Whoever loves Ali will be crowned and will be dressed the garment of honor. Whoever loves Ali will pass the Path like the swift lightning. Whoever loves Ali will be granted an acquittance from Hell, a permit to pass the Path, and a security against the punishment. Besides, no record of judgment will be opened for him, no balance (for weighing his good acts and evil acts for identifying which one is more) will be maintained for him, and it will be said to him, 'Enter Paradise without judgment.' Whoever loves Ali, the angels will shake hands with him, the prophets will visit him, and Allah will settle all of his needs. Whoever loves the family of Mohammed will be saved from the Judgment, the Balance, and the Path. Whoever dies on the love for the family of Mohammed, I guarantee for him a place in Paradise with the prophets.6 Whoever dies on the hatred for the family of Mohammed will never smell the essence of Paradise. Imam Ali Ar-Reza (A.S.) is also known as Imam-e- Zaamin (A.S.). Zaamin means ‘The Guarantor’. When Muslims go on journeys they take with them something called ‘Imam-e-Zaamin’ which is some money tied in a cloth. This tradition probably came from the time of Imam Reza (A.S.) when people used to carry money with them especially because it had Holy Imam's (A.S.) name on it. As Ma'mun, the Abbasid caliph the contemporary of Imam Reza (A.S.), had coins minted with the name of Imam Reza (A.S.) on them, it was very easy for the Muslims to carry the name of Holy Imam (A.S.) with them, especially when they went on journeys. One day when Imam Reza (A.S.) was on his historical journey from Madinah to Marw (Khurasan), while in a jungle the Holy Imam (A.S.) came across a hunter who was about to kill a deer. The deer was trying to get away and when she saw Holy Imam (A.S.), she said something to him. Holy Imam (A.S.) asked the hunter to free the deer so that she could go and feed her little baby deer that were very hungry. Imam Reza (A.S.) also told the hunter that once the deer had fed her babies she would come back. The hunter allowed the deer to go because Holy Imam (A.S.) had told him to, but he did not think the deer will come back. But Imam Reza (A.S.) waited with the hunter until the deer returned with her young ones. The hunter was amazed on witnessing this miraculous event and he set the deer free as a mark of respect for Imam Reza (A.S.). After this historical event Imam Reza (A.S.) became famous as Imam Zaamin (A.S.).

The Prophet (S.a.w) of Allah stated :
"And among men there is one who selleth his self ( soul ) seeking the pleasure of God; and verily, God is affectionate unto His (faithful) servants. " The Glorious Quran Chapter 2 Verse 207 .Implicit faith in the duty of a man to earn the pleasure of the Almighty Allah and His Prophet Muhammad ( p.b.u.h ), at any cost, even at the cost of his own life The courage of surrendering himself willingly with the utmost peace of mind, to sleep under the swords, ready to fall upon him .The confidence and faith in God's protection . And on the night of Hijrah, Allah the glorious revealed to Jibrail and Mikail I have established brotherhood between you two and have ordained the life of one longer than the life of the other. Now, are you willing to make a present of the extra length of life to the other? But each preferred the longer life for himself. Then Allah revealed Why not follow the example of Ali ibn Abu Talib. I have established brotherhood between him and Muhammad (pbuh). He is now sleeping on the bed of Muhammad in order to save his life by sacrificing his own. Now descend both of you to the earth and protect him from his enemies. Both the angels descended. Jibrail took up his position near Ali's head and Mikail near his feet. Jibrail was crying out aloud Excellent. Excellent. O son of Abu Talib! There is none like you. Allah is making boast of you before the angels. And it was on this very occasion that the above verse was revealed. Interview with Shaitaan by the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.)
Hazrat Muhammad s.a.w says , Despite Fatima's modest marriage on Earth, Allah, the Exalted, bestowed her with an honorable gift. He (Glory be to Him) gave her in marriage to Ali Ibn Abu Talib, before the Messenger himself did so. This is not abnormal, for Allah had given women who are much lower than Fatima in marriage to the Prophet (P.b.u.h). Therefore, was it not possible for Fatima's wedding to have been celebrated in the exalted heavens, and attended by the nearest angels to Allah, the Exalted, as Prophetic traditions state?! Indeed, this is what happened in tribute to Fatima, her Father, her husband, and her future children who are the authorities of Allah on His creatures. The celebration took place in the fourth Heaven near Al-Bait Al-Ma'mour (the constantly attended house of Allah). It was a unique event the like of which the universe had never encountered before. Angels from all the Heavens gathered in the fourth Heaven and erected the Minbar of Honor, which is made of light. Then Allah, The Almighty, revealed to one of His angels, Rahil, to ascend the Minber and praise and glorify His names as He deserves. Rahil, who was the most eloquent of all angels, did what his Lord revealed to him and said: "Praise be to Allah, since sempiternity of the first (creatures); He who is ever-lasting (even) after the cessation of all beings; We praise Him for making us spiritual angels;, who are submitting to His God ship, and for making us grateful forr Him for His benevolence on us. He safeguarded us from craving for lusts; and made our only pleasure and enjoyment to glorify and exalt Him. He Who extended His Mercy (upon everything); and bestowed His benevolence (upon everyone). Exalted is His Name from the polytheism of polytheists of the dwellers of Earth, And Elevated by His Creatures from the fabrications of the atheists. "Allah, The Omnipotent King chose the one who was bestowed with special Divine Honor, and the worshipper of His Greatness, for His worshipper, the Mistress of women and the daughter of the best of prophets, the Master of all messengers and the Imam of the pious; so He brought into relations the Prophet with a man from his kin. One who is his believing companion, and was prompt in answering his call-Ali, the devout, with Fatima the splendid and the daughter of the Messenger." Then Gabriel added the following words, which were from Allah, the Exalted:" Praise is My garment Greatness is My Magnificence, All the creatures are My slaves men and women. I give Fatima, My Worshipper in marriage to Ali, My chosen worshipper. So bear witness O My angels."
